Food
The Anasazi entered North America originally in hopes to search for food. They relied on the land for their ways of food. They turned desserts into gardens that produced corn and cabbage. As more Indians arrived and joined the Anasazi, the villages had to maintain water ways, dams, and irrigation systems to continue to feed the whole population. Their main diet was made from what they grew in their gardens and found in the water.
Agriculture
Like previously mentioned, the Anasazi depended on the land. They made gardens, irrigation systems, and started to build roads. These roads were built around the Chaco Canyon as trading routes, allowing them to travel far distances. They started to trade goods which allowed them to get a hold of different goods.
